With 46 years total music teaching experience, guitarist Ken Hall has taught all levels, from kindergarten through college. A retired public school instrumental music teacher, Mr. Hall holds a Bachelor of Music in Education and a Master of Music in Composition. His formal guitar studies have included classical and jazz, but his interests include other genres, such as blues, rock, folk, and country. Professional engagements have included a tour of the former Soviet Union, The Kennedy Center, and at the University of Notre Dame and Temple University. He has recently been engaged in theatrical work at commercial theaters (Signature, Olney, Round House, and Arena Stage) as well as at the Upper Room Theatre Ministry at All Saints Catholic Church in Manassas. Mr. Hall looks forward to sharing his love of music with Mountain View Music Academy students.
