Therese Fedoryka began playing guitar when she was 8 years old, studying for 12 years under the care of Prof. Aaron L. Carey of Bethany College. She has spent a number of years working with the Royal Conservatory of Music and pursued an Associates Diploma in Classical Guitar Performance through their program. She joined the Pittsburgh Classical Guitar Society in 2015 and played a number of concerts with their orchestra for seasonal events. Originally from Steubenville, OH, Therese enjoyed performing for local benefit concerts and school ceremonies, as well as for private events such as weddings, funerals, and club luncheons. While in Steubenville, Therese served as a non-profit board member for the Harmonium Project and managed a small downtown coffeehouse, during which time she organized edifying experiences for the community, including First Friday monthly music festivals, weekly open-mic nights, house concerts, period dances, and the Steubenville Nutcracker Village, one of Ohio’s leading Christmas attractions. Besides playing guitar, Therese loves downtown revitalization, making large-scale art, and encouraging people of all ages to develop and share their gifts with the world.
