Mountain View Music is an educational organization whose purpose is to teach the performing arts to promote the True, the Good, and the Beautiful in society. We serve as a community event and gathering space for the arts and provide outreach programs and services to those who would not otherwise have access to arts education in the Front Royal, Virginia area. This takes many forms, including individual instrumental and vocal lessons, as well as group classes (strings ensembles, Irish dance, ballet, swing dance, and theater).
We have also hosted concerts and other community-building events, such as our fundraisers for financial aid grants and scholarships. Future goals include a band program, chamber and concert orchestra, master classes, workshops, and competitions, community partnerships, and outreach to the greater Front Royal service area, especially to under-privileged youth, who would not otherwise have the opportunity to receive music education.
In addition, we provide a beautiful event/recital space available for rent to outside groups and organizations for such events as student recitals, corporate gatherings, non-profit fundraisers, movie screenings, and themed “jam nights.” Mountain View Music will also work to encourage people to enter the performing arts professions by providing financial aid grants, competitive scholarships to students, and a teacher training program for qualified individuals.
Mountain View Music Association Financial Aid Program
There are so many families in our community with budding young artists who cannot cultivate their talents due to their circumstances. It is very important to the Mountain View Music Association that every child be able to grow according to their needs, so the MVMA is pleased to support the music students of Front Royal with their Financial Aid Fund!
Every year, the MVMA Board accepts applications from families in need and is able to offer full- and partial-scholarships to young musicians in the area. Mountain View Music Association is happy for the opportunity to give back to the community where they can, but they believe that supporting young musicians should be something which the whole community participates in.
You can now help us in our support of young aspiring musicians!
